Overview
The Wireless Target System (WTS) is developed for realistic and reliable live simulation training. The WTS is based on the well established Saab BT46 simulator and is perfectly suited for tactical training in Training Centers, both in urban and open terrain. The flexibility of wireless communication makes the WTS adaptable to fit all kinds of vehicles included in the vehicle inventory without using expensive adaptation kits for each vehicle type. The battery powered WTS also makes it possible to instrument other strategic targets crucial for a realistic training environment, such as bridges, bunkers and checkpoints.
Features
The WTS is easy to use and install, only requiring minutes to attach and setup to the dedicated target. The Wireless Detector Units (WDU) are easily paired with the Wireless Computer Unit (WCU) by a single press on the WDU configuration button. The normal configuration for a target in a size of a jeep vehicle is 4 WDUs paired to a single WCU. If a larger target such as a 5 ton truck is used, just add and pair more WDUs to the system to represent the larger target.
