Overview
Saab's Personal Detection Device (PDD) provides warfighters with the ability to train in a highly realistic environment. Interfacing a variety of weapons systems and accessories, the PDD ensures soldiers use correct drills and procedures. With enhanced realism, soldiers are better equipped for real combat situations.
Features
The PDD is excellent for training basic soldier skills as well as combat techniques at the unit level. Complexity in training can be introduced by adding NC features, hand grenades, medical treatment and more. The training environment can be seamlessly changed from classic warfare to urban terrain. The modularity and flexibility in the PDD design allows training at all levels, from individual to brigade levels, and enables future upgrades and the implementation of new requirements.
