Overview
The MAT is an autonomous moving target suitable for a variety of gunnery training applications and is built to withstand harsh conditions in cold and hot climates. A selection of accessories are available with the MAT, including a range control system, pyrotechnic devices etc., which can be added to further enhance the training.
Meeting future challenges demands more realism in training. MIT provides such realism. It consists of a generic target mechanism module that can be configured to any customer requirement. Built on 30 years' experience of fielding targetry products for demanding users and environments, MIT provides realism, long product life and a low life cycle costs.
Features
The MAT – Moving Armour Target has a powerful lift mechanism, and all full-scale tank target silhouettes are easy to raise, even in windy conditions. The target lifters can be configured on demand to reflect any enemy or action. A wide variety of accessories are available, including thermal signatures, a non-contact hit scoring system, pyrotechnic devices, laser target interfaces and an easy-to-use control system. Proposals for complete MAT installations tailored to specific customer requirements packages can be submitted upon request.
The Moving Infantry target can be configured as a fixed installation or deployable unit to enable training in urban environments, as well as on traditional firing ranges. A wide variety of accessories are available for the lifter, such as thermal signatures, armour protection, a non-contact hit-scoring system, laser target interface and an easy-to-use control system.
